All Games is a vibrant large vintage Beni M'Guild rug. I spotted this vintage beauty, during my last trip in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
An elegant symmetrical geometric composition is highlighted by the beautiful gradient background (from purple on one side to orange and raspberry red on the other). This carpet features intricate symmetrical patterns, a characteristic of the traditional Beni M'Guild design.
A very nice quality of wool, the weaving of the strands is tight while being extremely soft. It's a unique vintage rug.
The rugs of the Beni M'Guild tribe (from the Moroccan Middle Atlas) have the particularity of being reversible. One side for winter, the other for summer: they are often turned over during the summer season... the design is just as interesting. The weaving techniques have been passed down by Berber women from generation to generation.
